In the State of California, AGC’s Industrial Relations Department has a proud and historic 88 year history as the leader in the Union construction industry negotiating specific Master Labor Agreements with the basic crafts. The AGC Industrial Relations Department represents the largest multi-employer bargaining unit in the United States; representing over 500 union contractor’s state wide which produce in excess of 35 million union man-hours per year in the State of California.
Progressive thinking within our contractor driven craft committees has been the catalyst for implementing change and maintaining a sound labor climate. Through partnering with organized labor, AGC continues to be the leader in bringing the concerns and the needs of the Union contractor to the table.
