Public Works Task Force - Rate Setting to Off-Site Trucking
On behalf of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for the state of California, AGC of California asks for your assistance in a public works task force effort. The purpose of this task force is to provide information to the DIR of industry practices relating to material deliveries, to construction job sites and off-site hauling, including refuse.
Please use the link below to find the Rate Setting to Off-Site Trucking survey that we are asking you to take the time to complete. The DIR believes the input provided will be necessary to develop these trucking rates.

Cal/OSHA standards for trenching and excavating require that every jobsite have a “competent person” present at all times who has undergone safety training. This course includes instruction on soil classification, shoring and sloping standards and much more.
