AGC staff are often asked – how do I get involved? The best way to make sure you get a return on your investment with AGC of California is to get involved. AGC offers members numerous opportunities to get involved in the Association – on a company level and an individual level. The involvement depends on your interests and your time commitments.
Networking – through our meetings, events and forums you can build lasting relationships with all types of construction professionals
Supporting the Association and advertising your company’s products through our California Constructor magazine or the various sponsorship opportunities offered
Business building skills for all levels of employees, including CEOs – take advantage of training and educational opportunities offered.
Committees/Councils/Taskforces – Gain knowledge, a competitive edge and more through active participation. From such interests as safety, awards programs, to legal.
Political and Legislative Grassroots Programs – through AGC’s Bi-PAC program, members are asked periodically to write their elected representatives. It’s easy and simple – watch for information.
Construction Leadership Council (CLC) - The CLC was established to fulfill the need to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the construction industry as well as the association both at the local and national levels. The purpose of the CLC is to act as a conduit for participants to network, exchange ideas about work and the industry, and gain continuing education which includes both professional development and leadership skills. You can also get involved at the District, Division and State levels through AGC’s Boards of Directors – help shape the policy of the Association.
