CONTRACTOR MEMBERSHIP
Contractor membership is limited to any construction firm licensed to perform construction in California. Contractor member dues are based on the average dollar volume of construction billed during the previous two years.  The minimum dues of $765.00 are due each January.  Contractor members will also be assessed a mandatory minimum contribution of $153.00 for the AGC Legislative Funding Program.

Contractor members must submit an annual volume report indicating the total dollars of construction billed for the previous calendar year.  This report shall include the volume of all construction contracts, public or private, bid or negotiated, performed within the 57 counties of California, exclusive of San Diego County. Quarterly volume dues payments are billed based upon this report according to the dues schedule.

EMERGING CONTRACTOR MEMBERSHIP
The definition of this special category of membership is an entity holding a valid California Contractors License for not more than seven years, whose annual construction volume is not more than $1,000,000.00 and has not previously been a member of the Association.  The new program allow contractors to remain in this classification for a maximum of three years after which the member will be assessed the standard membership dues.

This new classification allows the Association to introduce the new emerging contractor to all the AGC services available and to network with his/her peers. Special annual dues are $560.00 per year.  Dues include a contribution to the AGC Legislative Funding Program.

JOINT VENTURE MEMBERSHIP
Joint Venture membership is limited to construction firms formed as a joint venture and licensed to perform construction in California.  Joint Venture member dues are based on dollar volume of construction billed during the current year in accordance with the dues schedule.  The minimum dues of $765.00  are due each January.  Joint Venture members will also be assessed a mandatory minimum contribution of $153.00 for the AGC Legislative Funding Program.

If all firms participating in the joint venture are Contractor Members of the AGC of California, the joint venture may pay full volume dues as indicated above OR pay only the minimum dues and apply the prorated volume of the joint venture to the volume reported by each participating member firm.  A joint venture which, for whatever reason, does not exercise this option is obligated to pay volume dues on the basis of current construction volume, not the average of two previous years.
