House Passes Highway Bill Extension

The House of Representatives has passed a 90-day extension of highway and transit program authorization by a vote of 266-158, which would keep current programs and taxes in place through the end of June. The debate was highly partisan but 37 Democrats voted in support of the measure. The Senate is expected to take up the measure later today.
