The Heat in Riverside Isn’t the Only Thing Breaking Records

The Associated General Contractors Annual Safety and Health Council Joint Chapter Conference enjoyed record breaking attendance with almost 100 people present in the sweltering heat of Riverside, CA on July 11th. Members from AGC California and San Diego chapters know the value of attending these informative meetings and were joined by industry colleagues.
Hosted by AGC member, SKANSKA USA CIVIL WEST, the conference focused on three variations of the theme, “Leadership in Safety”, with key industry speakers. The intent of the program was to offer attendees an opportunity to enhance skill sets and learn successful strategies to improve their safety programs. An immediate benefit was garnered from our speakers, who offered new strategies, ideas and practical solutions. Multiple networking opportunities offered the chance to see old friends and make new ones, discuss challenges, obtain fresh perspectives and learn how to operate more efficiently and effectively.
