About the Instructors

Chris Wiegman
Chris Wiegman, Founder & CEO (GroupOne IT)

My deep-seated passion for innovation and entrepreneurship has set the standard for creativity and success in the IT industry. As the CEO of GroupOne IT, I have grown my organization from start-up to industry leader in a very short time. I organized an intuitive, creative, and driven group of professionals into a company that exceeds standards and enjoys admiration from peers.

I followed my dreams and found success through a determined work ethic and entrepreneurial drive. Since I was 15 years old, I have been working and quickly learned the value of hard work. After learning the ropes of IT from my brother and gaining years of valuable experience in the workplace, I followed my entrepreneurial spirit and went into consulting. I found success in working with clients, using my unique ability to build and develop long-lasting relationships.

This drove me to build on my entrepreneurial acumen and cofound GroupOne IT. I partner with those who share my vision for the future and drive for success. My greatest motivation? Having the privilege of being surrounded by people who inspire and motivate me daily. This synergy has led GroupOne IT to be recognized as one of the top organizations in the industry and named one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Sacramento region by the Sacramento Business Journal.

Turino Fuad
Turino Fuad, Founder & CFO (GroupOne IT)

With over three decades of experience in financial, international business, and entrepreneurship, Turino Fuad brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and knowledge to GroupOne IT. He is responsible for both the day-to-day and strategic fiscal operations of the organization. These responsibilities include oversight of all accounting, finance, and strategic financial planning for the organization. His extensive international and entrepreneurial experience places him in the unique position to seek and evaluate strategic long-term acquisition strategies. As a CPA, Turino is also directly responsible for the tax advisory and consulting services provided to the organization’s clients.

Turino was born and raised in Indonesia, where he developed a strong entrepreneurial foundation and quickly learned the values of hard work. At an early age, he immigrated to the US, where he attended Chico State and completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He continued to expand his educational foundation with an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. He quickly began developing his professional resume, with various roles in finance and accounting, including roles as CFO with PT Citra Swadaya Loka and Kelley & Swain, Inc. He then began to sharpen his entrepreneurial skill sets and started Turino & Co., a company that focused on management coaching and financial consulting. Turino sought to expand his expertise more broadly and became the managing principal with VINX International, a global organization that sought to create demand and experience of wine consumption in Asia Pacific Rim countries.

With this ever-growing entrepreneurial spirit in full bloom, he co-founded GroupOne IT. Throughout his professional career, Turino has remained active and engaged with his family business, Puratos Indonesia, where he has spent over two decades on the board of directors.

Michael Snelling
Michael Snelling, Vice President (HUB International)

Michael Snelling joined the Sacramento office of HUB International in 2019 as a specialist in the Construction & Financial Institution verticals.  During his 16 years of experience in the insurance world, Michael has focused on a technical approach to the insurance process with nationwide clients.

While many of his peers focus purely on ‘premium’, the bottom line is that all insurance policies are not created equal and can leave the policyholder in a difficult situation if corners are cut to save a few dollars.  Michael learned that having a true understanding of his client’s exposures, and subsequent coverage provisions needed to cover those, is only part of the equation. The other portion consists of developing and maintaining strong relationships with his underwriters.  Linking the two together then allows him to put together the right solutions for his partners and provide an unmatched value.

This approach goes across his portfolio and extends to the placement of Cyber Liability, Casualty, Property, Professional Liability, Management Liability, and Surety programs for both trade and general contractors of various sizes.  Michael’s knowledge & professionalism, combined with the extended resources that HUB has to offer, create a unique team that has made a significant difference for many over the past five years.
