AGC Student Chapters

This mentorship program was a perfect opportunity to get a head start on my career. It's about leveraging every chance you get to learn from those who've already paved their way. Learning from someone experienced in the field gives you insights you can't find in textbooks. It's about understanding the industry from the inside out. A goal for us was to find a company that meets my values, showing me that the benefits of the right fit far outweigh just the salary. I would definitely recommend mentorship to others. It's a unique chance to gain practical advice and get a good start in your career.

I noticed there wasn’t a solid place at UC Davis to explore the construction industry beyond the competitive, technical focus of existing clubs. Seeing the success of AGC chapters at other campuses, I wanted to bring those resources and opportunities here. Our main goal is to build a community where people feel comfortable making connections and learning about the industry outside of high-pressure settings

'Receiving this scholarship has been an incredible honor and will greatly support my journey as I work towards my degree in Construction Engineering Management. It will allow me to focus more on my studies and less on financial stress, empowering me to continue pursuing my goal of becoming a Superintendent one day. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to using this support to further my professional and personal growth.
