College2Construct is a dynamic mentoring program designed to connect college students exploring careers in construction with experienced professionals from contractor companies. Through one-on-one mentorship, students gain valuable industry insight, career guidance, and real-world perspective to help bridge the gap between education and the construction workforce.
The College2Construct (C2C) mentoring program is a valuable initiative that fosters professional growth for both college students and members of the Emerging Leaders Academy. By connecting aspiring professionals with experienced industry leaders, the program aims to provide students with practical knowledge and insight while also enhancing the leadership skills of Emerging Leaders Program members. Our program spans from fall through spring each year, designed to foster connections that last well beyond its formal conclusion. By participating in the College2Construct mentoring program, students and mentors alike will be empowered to grow and succeed in the construction industry.

My experience with the AGC C2C Mentorship program was amazing. It was so helpful to have direct guidance on things I felt unsure about, and I felt incredibly supported both when I was looking for new job opportunities and as I was trying to grow as a professional. The program definitely boosted my confidence and got me even more excited for my future in construction.
If I had to pick the main skills I really strengthened, I definitely built up the confidence to naturally network and talk with industry professionals. I also gained a lot of insight when it comes to making construction related decisions, and I learned to never be afraid to ask questions because so many professionals are truly willing to help.
