Bridging the Gap Together
In celebration of Volunteer Month 2025, AGC of California, driven by the passion of our Emerging Leaders and AGC Student Chapters, hosted 13 meaningful volunteer events statewide. From planting trees at local schools and supporting Habitat for Humanity projects to distributing food at community banks, our members came together to build stronger, greener, and more resilient communities.
We’re proud of the impact made and excited to do even more in 2026. Stay tuned for what’s next!

Tinnovation
Tinnovation is a design and build competition organized by AGC of California, where student chapters construct structures using canned food, which is later donated to charity. Participants must fundraise and collect non-expired canned goods throughout April Volunteer Month using methods such as community drives, charity events, or social media campaigns. Teams will build their structures in May, following strict guidelines. Submissions, due May 30, 2025, must include a project summary, impact statement, visual documentation, and team details. Projects are judged on creativity, craftsmanship, written statements, and use of cans, with winners receiving prizes. The initiative not only fosters teamwork and innovation but also supports food security in local communities.
