Grow your business at the SoCal Small Business Construction Expo (SBCX)

Build your network at the upcoming Southern California Small Business Construction Expo (SBCX) on Aug. 25 in Long Beach! This expo is presented in partnership with BuildOUT California, DGS, LA Metro, LAWA, Metropolitan Water District, and the Port of Long Beach to bring together public and government agencies, prime contractors, and specialty trades from across the state, and aims to build relationships, create opportunities, and strengthen our industry.

We encourage prime contractors, specialty trades, and local agencies to sponsor the event and reserve an expo booth to connect with SUB contractors that are looking for opportunities to advance their business. As an added bonus, sponsors will receive a discount code to access member pricing to AGC of California’s Hot Summer Night event on Aug. 24. Gold and Silver sponsors will receive two free tickets, and Bronze sponsors will receive one.

Don’t wait until August to network with other small/underrepresented businesses (SUBs)! Join our next SUB Forum taking place on July 25!

Donate to the AGC Construction Education Foundation (CEF)

Our sincere gratitude goes out to our donors and sponsors – your generous support ensures AGC of California’s Workforce Development programs have a strong future and impact. We’d like to acknowledge our newest program sponsors:

  • Granite Construction – $20,000 donation to the AGC of California Inclusive Leaders Institute.
  • Webcor – $5,000 to Build California, and $5,000 towards both a SUB Forum and DE&I Forum.

Through innovative programs such as Build California, Emerging Leaders, AGC of California Student Chapters, and Scholarships & Giving, CEF is able to attract underrepresented populations to the construction industry and provide the necessary support, training and education which ensures advancement. CEF is 100% dependent on charitable donations and grant funds to successfully operate these programs and support the industry.
