The Build a Legacy Dinner is an intimate evening dedicated to celebrating the people, partnerships, and programs shaping the future of California’s construction workforce. Together, we’ll reflect on the lives transformed through AGC CEF’s work while investing in the next generation of skilled professionals who will build our state’s future.

Why It Matters

The AGC Construction Education Foundation (AGC CEF) is the charitable, workforce-focused arm of the Associated General Contractors of California. Every charitable contribution directly supports programs that attract, develop, and retain the people who build California.

In 2025 and 2026, AGC CEF:

• Awarded $500,000 in scholarships and childcare stipends to students pursuing construction education, apprenticeship, and degree programs.
• Trained 1,827 construction professionals through 275 workforce training sessions statewide.
• Introduced 33,746 students and prospective workers to careers in construction through Build California.
• Supported 801 individuals and 342 small and underrepresented construction businesses through workforce and business development programs.
• Connected jobseekers to opportunity through 315 direct referrals to construction training programs and employers.

An Exclusive Evening

Attendance is intentionally limited to create a meaningful experience with California’s construction leaders, AGC CEF’s closest supporters, and philanthropic partners.

Throughout the evening, you’ll hear firsthand from students, scholarship recipients, workforce program participants, and industry partners whose lives and organizations have been impacted by AGC CEF’s mission.
