AI for the Construction Scheduler: Working Faster with Claude

This workshop looks at how construction schedulers can use Claude as a day-to-day assistant, from reading schedule files to analyzing what changed to producing the report that goes out.

September 30, 2026 (Wed)
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Virtual Training

This hands-on workshop explores how construction schedulers can use Claude as a day-to-day assistant – from reading schedule files and analyzing changes to producing reports and executive-level deliverables.

Participants will begin with prompting fundamentals and then build a Claude Project designed to function as an assistant construction scheduler that understands project information, terminology, and reporting standards. The workshop covers creating presentations and reports from schedule data, defining the metrics and rules those reports rely on, and verifying AI-generated output against the source schedule.

Participants will also explore how Claude Skills can support recurring scheduling deliverables and how Cowork can be used to create agent-based workflows without coding. The session concludes with trend analysis across multiple projects and the development of a portfolio dashboard.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Construct effective prompts for common construction scheduling tasks.
