On July 9, 2025, Lauren Sujeeth and Josh Maltzer of Rogers Joseph O’Donnel will present a webinar discussing best practices for contractor compliance with U.S. domestic procurement laws:  Build America Buy America, Buy American, and the Trade Agreements Act.  The presentation will focus on application of the laws, exceptions and waivers, compliance training, best practices, penalties for violations, and enforcement.

Lauren Kramer Sujeeth
Lauren Kramer Sujeeth, Shareholder (Rogers Joseph O'Donnell)

Co-chair of RJO’s White-Collar Criminal Defense practice group, Lauren Sujeeth is a seasoned trial lawyer who has built a thriving career taking on tough, unusual cases. She represents companies and individuals facing regulatory investigations or state and federal criminal charges, and litigates on behalf of contractors at the federal, state and local levels. This includes protecting their interests during bid protests and when disputes arise. She previously chaired the Associated General Contractors of California (AGC) Legal Advisory Committee and was recognized by Super Lawyers in Northern California for her work in government contracts from 2016 to 2023.

Josh Maltzer, Of Counsel (Rogers Joseph O'Donnell)

Josh Maltzer is a member of RJO’s construction and government contracts practice and has extensive experience representing contractors in a wide variety of construction claims and litigation.  Mr. Maltzer is also a steering committee member of the ABA Forum on Construction Law General Contractor’s Division.  He lectures frequently on construction topics, including contract drafting, delay and disruption, cost claim preparation, change of law impacts, and insurance recovery.
