This 8-part course is designed for those looking to take their Excel skills to the next level. For those already comfortable working in Excel and using basic functions, this course will introduce time-saving skills and also help make Excel a better tool for analysis and reporting. Only the final two classes build upon each other; so you are free to pick and choose which topics you need the most or sign up for the entire course. Enrollment includes practice datasets that will be used during the class, the answer key, and access to the instructor for future questions about applying what you have learned to your situation. Learn all about the IF logic formulas within Excel. This class will cover IF, IFERROR, SUMIF, COUNTIF, SUMIFS, and COUNTIFS. Discover new ways to quickly analyze and classify your data.
Class 4: Text Formulas

Find new ways to look at your data using Excel’s text formulas. This class will show how to use TRIM, LEFT/RIGHT, LEN, UPPER/LOWER, &/CONCAT, and combinations of these functions. Presenting useful data in Excel just got easier.
Class 5: Conditional Formatting
September 13, 2022, 11am – 12pm PT
Turn ordinary spreadsheets into colorful reports that attract the eye to the key points. This class will also show how to use Conditional Formatting to automate formatting for recurring reports.
Class 6: Subtotals
September 20, 2022, 11am – 12pm PT
Create drill-down reports within Excel. This class will provide the skills to make reports that help managers see the big picture at a glance while giving them the flexibility to dig into the details where needed.
Class 7: Pivot Tables Part I and Class 8: Pivot Tables Part II
September 27 & October 4, 2022, 11am – 12pm PT
Learn the basics of how to create a pivot table. This two-part class will help you identify pivot table applications and learn how to navigate one of Excel’s most powerful tools.
