OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Construction
This 10-hour OSHA Outreach in person training course is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction industry safety and health hazards to entry-level workers. Target Audience: Construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, and anyone involved in the construction industry.
OSHA recommends this Outreach Training Program as an introduction to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.
This course is conducted on two separate days per OSHA training guidelines from 8 am to 2 pm on October 24 and October 25
Mandatory Topics (6 hours): Intro to OSHA (1 hr.); OSHA Focus Four Hazards (4 hrs.); Personal Protective Equipment (30 min.); Health Hazards in Construction (30 min.)
Elective Topics (4 hours): Excavations (2 hrs.); Tools – Hand and Power (2 hrs.)
STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE: Student Manual (PDF); Access to online Student Profile Page to download E-Certificate, view E-Training Record Card. Department of Labor (DOL) OSHA Card will be mailed within 2-4 weeks of the training completion date.
