The mental health and wellbeing of workers and families have been substantially affected by stress, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse during the pandemic.  Mental health is top of mind for a majority of leaders in all industries.  This is true of the construction industry. Review the major findings and recommendations from the 2021 Mental Health in Construction Survey.

Darcy Gruttadaro, Director (Center for Workplace Mental Health)

Darcy Gruttadaro is the Director of the Center for Workplace Mental Health where she leads strategy in providing employers with tools to effectively support the mental health and well-being of employees and their families. Before joining the Center, Darcy served in multiple senior-level positions with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Cal Beyer
Cal Beyer, Vice President (CSDZ, a Holmes Murphy Company)

Cal Beyer, CWP is Vice President of Workforce Risk and Worker Wellbeing for CSDZ, a Holmes Murphy company. CSDZ specializes in construction insurance, surety, risk management and employee benefits. Cal is a national advocate for workplace mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention. He serves on the Executive Committee of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
