AGC is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to current professionals and students pursuing an education and career in construction. Students must be enrolled in either a certified training, pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship program, as well as those attending a two- or four-year degree program at a college or university.

Scholarship Opportunities
Applications for AGC of California Scholarships and Grants are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT. If you have questions, please email Cecilia Palomera at PalomeraC@agc-ca.org for eligibility information and official scholarship forms.
AGC CEF Skilled Trades Scholarship: This scholarship is designed to support students pursuing post-secondary construction industry training programs. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $2,500. Students enrolled in or accepted to a pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship or certified construction program are eligible. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
AGC College Scholarship: This scholarship awards individual scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500. It is a great opportunity for college students pursuing construction or construction-related careers who are enrolled in a two—or four-year degree program. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
CLIC Scholarship: The California Landscape Irrigation Council (CLIC) Inc. Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who portrays academic excellence working towards a degree in landscape construction, contracting, engineering, construction management, business administration, and/or related fields. The scholarship is also open to members of union trades specific to landscape careers. The applicant must be a resident of Southern California. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Marina Landscape Scholarship: Awarded to students who portray academic excellence working towards a degree in: landscape construction, engineering, construction management, business administration, and/or related fields. The scholarship is also open to members of union trades specific to landscape careers. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
HammerTech Safety Scholarship: Geared for college students, this scholarship addresses the need for well-trained, certified construction safety professionals that has compounded in recent years. This is a great opportunity for college students pursuing CM, CE, or adjacent AEC/safety-related degrees with a strong interest and/or proven internship history in construction safety. Applications for this scholarship are closed. The next application period opens in Fall 2026.
AGC Student Chapter & Community Funding
School & Community Grant: AGC School & Community Program Grants will be awarded to California middle and high schools, CTE/ROP, and/or community-based or non-profit programs focused on raising career awareness, providing educational opportunities, and developing skills for the next generation of diverse construction professionals. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
AGC Student Chapter Grant: AGC of California Student Chapter members can earn up to $2,500 in funding through the AGC Student Chapter Grant! The funds can support anything from supplies to events, and educational opportunities. Applications are open through April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
