Scholarship & Grant Opportunities are Now Open to Build Next Generation of Construction Professionals
The AGC Construction Education Foundation’s (CEF) 2024 Scholarship Program is in full swing, with four opportunities now accepting applications! Eligible students can be awarded up to $5,000 from the AGC College Scholarship and Skilled Trades Scholarship, $2,500 from the Marina Scholarship, and $1,000 from the CLIC Scholarship.

Additionally, the CEF has several grant opportunities that are now open for eligible AGC Student Chapters and California middle and high schools, CTE/ROP, and/or community-based or non-profit programs. During the first quarter of 2024, our Legal Advisory Committee (LAC) held three Board meetings where three MCLE (legal continuing education) presentations and three case laws were presented. We also launched a Construction Law Series where members of our committee presented AB 594 and AB 334. We urge all member companies, particularly those with general counsel on staff, to join the LAC to network and discuss pertinent construction industry issues. Law professionals of our contractor or specialty contractor members can now join the LAC for free!
