Build California, designed to engage and activate the next generation of California’s Construction workforce, is doing just that! Want to get involved with Build California? Here are three ways your company can get engaged with Build and help activate the next generation of construction professionals:

1. Post on our Job Board
This is a FREE service to all AGC of California and Build California Coalition members to post any open internships, operations and management positions, or other construction career opportunities. Use your free access and post any openings to get direct access to a growing skilled workforce.

2. Become a Build CA Ambassador
Our Build California supporters are spreading our mission everywhere and with students  of all ages. Check out this picture from Ms. Rennie’s 4th-grade class at Canyon Oaks Elementary in American Canyon, part of the Napa Valley Unified School District, after our Ambassador’s presentation. We love to see the next Generation in our Build California swag!

The Build California Ambassador Program is designed to maximize our impact and spread our message across California that states: careers in construction are a viable and respectable career option. During our previous ambassador training, Build California had the opportunity to celebrate and deepen the connection between our industry champions, leaders, advocates, and Build California’s core audience.

Get trained as an ambassador and represent our dynamic industry with the next generation of construction professionals. Save the date for our next Ambassador Training on August 19 at 1 p.m., registration will open on agc-ca.org soon!

3.   Like, Follow, and Share #BuildCalifornia
A great and easy way to get involved and support Build California is through social media. Social media as one of the primary ways we connect with the next generation  and give a sneak peek into the 21st century construction industry. We feature industry leaders in action at dynamic job sites, incredible job site views, and the day-to-day responsibilities of a construction professional.

Send us your pictures or videos for a chance to be featured on our social media platforms and to help us activate our future construction leaders! Please send all content submissions to Aby Palomares at palomaresa@agc-ca.org.
