Dive into the Work in Progress (WIP) or Job Schedule, which lies at the heart of construction financial accounting. Explore key elements of the report, their interconnections, and the percent complete method of revenue recognition. Understand the difference between markup and margin, and learn how to book the monthly WIP adjustment entry to revenue. The course is live and instructor-led, with instructions to join the training provided upon registration.

For an extended learning experience, consider enrolling in the second course of the two-part series, taking place on April 18th, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm PT. This session delves deeper into the WIP report, equipping construction financial managers with the ability to identify potential problem jobs and comprehend how changes in projections affect monthly results. Additionally, learn how to account for loss provisions.

The cost for the series is $150 per person for members and $200 per person for non-members. A-la-carte pricing for individual units is $75 per person for members and $100 per person for non-members. To qualify for the digital credential, certificate, and hard hat sticker, participants must successfully complete both units.

While not mandatory, it is recommended that participants attend the Elements of the WIP course on April 11, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm PT, prior to attending the second training session.
