Cal/OSHA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor Initial 1003 (40 hours)
This course meets the Cal/OSHA AHERA training requirement for Asbestos Contractor/Supervisors. Students will review, in detail, EPA, OSHA and California regulations which apply to asbestos work. The topics covered
in detail are: the history and uses of asbestos, health effects, protective equipment, work practices, inspections, safety, and more. In addition to the minimum EPA requirements,students will cover issues of current and enduring importance in the field of asbestos contracting and supervision. Instructors take the time to cover topics of importance to individual students. In-depth coverage of important issues allows students to go back to their work places to supervise and work on asbestos abatement jobs. The course includes timely updates and is presented in ways that challenge the students to gain a deeper and continuing knowledge of the topics that affect their jobs. The class consists of classroom and hands-on instruction. Prerequisites: None.

CDPH Lead Worker Initial (24 Hours)
This 3-day CDPH course includes: introduction to the history of lead, how lead is used, the health effects of lead
poisoning, lead regulations, hazard recognition and control, medical surveillance, medical removal, personal protective measures, respirators, clothing and hygiene, work practices during abatement.

Lead Sampling Technician Initial 1036 (8 Hours)

This 8-hour CA Department of Public Health (CDPH) class provides Sampling Technicians with the basic information they need to perform their work. This includes background on health risks of lead; how to conduct a visual assessment and visual examination; how to collect dust wipe, paint chip, and soil samples plus an overview of how to use an XRF analyzer.

Employee OSHA Compliance (2 Hours) Cal/OSHA’s Heat Illness & Hazardous Communication (Hazcomm) Training

Confined Space Entry (16 Hours) Cal/OSHA’s Confined Space Entry 16 hours

Safety at Heights (8 hours) This Safety at Heights course covers the Cal/OSHA Fall Protection Standard for construction and an overview of fall protection methods.

HAZWOPER 40 HOUR Initial (40 Hours) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) In accordance with Title 8 Section 5192(e) of the General Industry Safety Orders.

Mold Remediation & Inspection (16 Hours) The concern over the indoor exposure to mold has been increasing at an alarming rate. Therefore, it becomes necessary to identify those persons who have the special knowledge and training to address this problem.

Respiratory Protection (4 Hours) Per 1910.134(k),requires the Employer to provide effective training to employees who are required to use respirators.

EPA Lead Renovator Initial (8 hours) This 1-day (8-hr) class explains how to comply with EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. Subjects covered include: health effects, regulations, lead safe work practices, containment, cleaning & record keeping.

Crystalline Silica Awareness in Construction (2 hours)
The training is focused on worker exposures to respirable crystalline silica and steps to protect workers.

Medic First Aid/CPR Initial (6 hours)
The training is focused on worker exposures to respirable crystalline silica and steps to protect workers.

OSHA 30 HOUR Construction Industry
(30 hours) Our Cal/OSHA 30-Hour outreach course covers specific OSHA requirements as they apply to the construction industry to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site.

HAZWOPER Supervisor Initial 8HR (8 hours) Management and Supervisor training. On-site management and supervisors directly responsible for, or who supervise employees engaged in, hazardous waste operations shall receive 40 hours initial training, and three days of supervised field experience.
