So what role does the Building Code play in all of this? The code has scoping provisions telling what, where, and how many to ensure ADA compliance in new construction and renovations. In this 2-½ hour lesson, we’ll discuss many of the building code provisions that ensure ADA compliance, outlined in Chapter 11 of the IBC – Accessibility.
