About the Instructors

Talin Espinoza
Talin Espinoza, Director of Business Development, Northwest and Southwest Districts (Flatiron)

Ms. Espinoza has over 19 years of client service and business development experience working with public works and government agency owners focused on the infrastructure including water, transportation, aviation and transit. Talin is focused on providing value to clients and project stakeholders. Her efforts are focused on aligning client and project needs with company resources.  She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Southern California Chapter, the largest community of construction professionals in Los Angeles. She is also a Board Member for the Association of General Contractors (AGC) Los Angeles District and has been serving since 2014.  Talin is a contributing writer for an A/E/C publication for PSMJ, Inc. and serves on the AGC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee.

Allison Kooiman
Allison Kooiman, Director of Business Development for Survey and Geospatial Services (Psomas)

Allison Kooiman has spent the last 25 years of her career in client facing roles, ranging from Hollywood studios and celebrity PR, to where she is now at Psomas as an Associate and Director of Business Development for Survey and Geospatial Services. Passionate about branding, relationship management, strategy, mentoring, coaching, and marketing, Allison brings decades of experience to the table, as well as an expert eye that will help in accomplishing her mission to help others grow in their career and become more confident in the workplace. Allison is currently a professional mentor for industry associations as well as a keynote speaker.  Born and raised in Southern California with a BA in Communications from Loyola Marymount University, Allison is a mother to three, wife to a firefighter and enjoys hiking, golfing, live music and theater.

Noah Boro
Noah Boro, Business Development Manager (Turner Construction)

Since joining Turner in 2003, Noah has both blazed new trails as an early adopter of technology and developed strong roots as a respected builder in the field. He started his construction career in Turner’s Southern California office and developed a true understanding of all aspects of construction by working as an engineer and superintendent on some of the region’s most complex projects.

After an early focus in the healthcare industry working with such clients as Kaiser Permanente, Memorial Healthcare and UCLA Medical Center, Noah held a lead role as superintendent on SoFi Stadium. Switching gears mid-2020, he assumed the role of Business Development Manager, leveraging his years of building strong relationships with design partners, clients, and trades in the field.

Named one of ENR California’s ‘Top 20 Under 40’ in 2015, Noah is the consummate student and mentor, building his construction career on a strong foundation of knowledge and a desire to change the industry for the better. He is an active member of his community having been involved in such organizations as Big Brother Big Sister, YouthForce 20/20 and ACE Mentor. As a founding member of Turner’s Inclusion Action Committee, Noah is working to ensure that the diversity of our employees is reflected at all levels of the company as we strive to mirror the communities in which we build.
