Paul Pendergast, CEO of Pendergast Consulting Group, is a nationally recognized public affairs expert with over 25 years of practical experience in the field of strategic communications and economic development programs. Pendergast has served as the Project Director of Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs for several of California’s largest infrastructure projects including the $2.2B Transbay Transit Center, The California High Speed Rail’s Early Train Operator Contract, the $1.5B Doyle Drive Replacement Project and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit’s (BART) Small Business Services Program associated with the $3.5B infrastructure program. Pendergast is also the President of BuildOUT California, the world’s first industry association dedicated to the sustainable development of LGBT and Allied businesses in the areas of Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate Development and related industries. Pendergast has been a featured speaker at the Transportation Research Board in Washington, D.C. on the topic of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) Innovations.
Melinda Lee is a Presentation Skills Expert and Founder of Speak In Flow, LLC, a leadership development consultancy guiding executives and corporate teams to higher potential, specifically around public speaking and high-stakes communication.
She holds an M.A. in Organizational Psychology, is an Insights Practitioner, and is Certified in Negotiations as well as Conflict Resolution. For over a decade, Melinda has researched and studied the state of “flow” and uses it as a proven technique to help corporate leaders and business owners amplify their voices, access flow, and present their mission in a more powerful way to achieve next-level results. Known for her expert advice and innovative approach, Melinda brings heart and expertise to any corporate leader and team. She has worked with executives and teams from Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Army Corps of Engineers, AECOM, and more.
