Mr. Huckabay is a second generation in the surety business, and he joined CSBA in 1996. As president of CSBA, he is now responsible for managing the overall operations, setting the strategic direction for the agency, and guiding clients on how to obtain their surety needs. This includes getting intimately involved in his clients’ businesses serving as an advisor on a variety of aspects such as general business planning, investment of capital, tax planning, negotiating banking terms, business formation and structure, and continuity planning. All of this is done with the intention of helping clients become better businesses and to obtain the surety credit the client’s needs to meet their goals. Mr. Huckabay is also directly involved in selecting the best surety company for clients and negotiating their bond programs with surety companies.
